About us

Joaquín qualified as an industrial engineer from the Universidad de Navarra and as a lawyer with a law degree from the UNED; he also holds an MBA from the IESE (UNAV). He works in the following languages: Spanish, English and Portuguese.

He is currently working as Interim manager, Project manager and Senior Consultant for companies in a variety of sectors, but in particular for companies in the environmental, industrial services and renewable energies sectors.

With over 34 years’ experience, he has worked in a wide range of companies, industrial and services groups, geographical areas and competitive environments.

As an entrepreneur, he has designed, started up and managed several of his own companies. He has also developed new businesses and companies for the groups in which he has worked as a manager, creating value for shareholders. As a business manager, he is a highly experienced professional, used to leadership and management:

• The improvement and optimisation of operations, taking advantage of synergies and creating value,
• Organisational change processes,
• The creation and training of highly qualified, high-performance teams,
• Management team professionalisation processes and generational change,
• Crisis situations and redefining strategy,

He has held different management positions and jobs as chairman, CEO, general manager, head of operations, head of engineering, head of new technologies, head of R+D as both an executive and as Interim manager.

Recently, having worked as Interim manager for Investment Funds and Private Equity, he was directly asked by several Corporate Finance entities to provide analysis, assessment and structuring for various investment opportunities.

In his role as Project manager he has led and arranged the technical and economic structuring for major industrial and infrastructure projects totalling over 1 billion euros of public and private investment.

He has also participated in multiple technical-technological, strategic and operations consultancy projects in industrial sectors (steel, drinks, agri-food, energy, etc.), as Senior Consultant.

In the course of his professional career, he has worked on projects, alliances, analysis of opportunities, etc. in a variety of geographical areas, such as: Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, Colombia, Panama, Dominican Republican, Puerto Rico, USA, Canada, France, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Italy, the Czech Republic, UK, Jordan, India, Malaysia, Vietnam, among others.
